Since last Wednesday, about a hundred trade union members have been taking action at the gates of CNH in Zedelgem. The factory remained operational during the action. This afternoon the protest was stopped after management and unions reached an agreement. Management responded to the employees’ demands. This gives them an extra day of vacation and the amount of the meal vouchers is increased. The mobility allowance and the bicycle allowance will also increase.
The agreement comes after previous sectoral negotiations had stalled. Therefore, further negotiations took place at company level, with this result.
