Nathaniel Brown is the only Eintracht Frankfurt professional in the German World Cup squad. The national player is expected to generate interest on the transfer market, with FC Bayern, among others, apparently looking at the left-back.

The speculation surrounding FC Bayern’s alleged interest in Eintracht Frankfurt’s Nathaniel Brown continues. The renowned portal “The Athletic” names the Munich team alongside Arsenal FC as observers of the 22-year-old. However, the latest report does not reveal how specific the mind games are.

Brown has a long-term contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until 2030. FC Bayern has already been linked to the German World Cup driver in recent weeks.

“Of course I read that too, but I want to focus on the World Cup now. I’ll see what comes after that. But now my full focus is on the World Cup,” Brown recently responded to the “Abendzeitung” when asked about the alleged interest from Munich.

Nagelsmann praises World Cup driver Brown

The left-back is in national coach Julian Nagelsmann’s 26-man DFB squad. In the most recent 4-0 test against Finland, Brown was allowed into the starting line-up and impressed.

The 22-year-old has “a lot of potential, is a very good one-on-one player, has a lot of speed, does it very cleverly and feels comfortable in the half-space,” praised Nagelsmann. Brown has to face competition from David Raum in the national team.

The latter has “a bit of aches and pains from Leipzig. These are two very good players who embody a different style and both could start,” said the national coach, commenting on the personnel situation on the left side of the defense.

With a strong World Cup, Brown could further increase interest in him and increase his market value.
