Safe storage in the Netherlands
“We have 300,000 customers and they want their data close to a sovereign country,” says Joris Schoonis of Microsoft Nederland. He points to the geopolitical situation in Europe. “The rising tension with Russia ensures that companies and authorities prefer to store their data safely in the Netherlands.”
