Again a car flies out of the infamous ‘Sanne en Hebe’ corner without a guardrail on the A59

On the A59 near Den Bosch, a car flew out of the bend on Sunday evening and ended up in the water. A man, woman and a dog who were in the car were removed by firefighters.

The occupants were checked by paramedics, but did not have to be taken to the hospital. The car is removed from the water by a salvage company.

Sanne and Hebe
The car went off the road in a bend on the A59 at the Empel junction. That is the same place where Sanne and Hebe’s car went out of control last October. There is no guard rail in that bend.

After a few recent incidents in the same corner, the call for a crash barrier in this corner is getting louder. Sanne Bos’s parents have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident in which Sanne and Hebe were killed.

The mayor and aldermen of Den Bosch also want a crash barrier to be installed at that location.
