Eight members of No Surrender were convicted two years ago of attempted murder in the settlement with an ex-gang member. Some are still serving their sentences. Today, 6 of them are on trial for so-called secondary files. The then president is now, according to his lawyer, accused of everything about what the members did individually.
“It is mainly the others who shift in order to place responsibility on him and to claim less responsibility for themselves for the acts they committed,” says Frank Scheerlinckx, lawyer for the former president of No Surrender.
– Are you saying, there were more important people than the president?
