After two months: Palermo changes coaches

Italian first division club US Palermo have changed coaches again after just two months. The Argentinian Guillermo Barros Schelotto will succeed the sacked Davide Ballardini, the Sicilian club announced. Ballardini only took over the post in November, but the team only managed to win twice under him. Most recently, however, Palermo managed an important victory in the relegation battle of Serie A with a 1-0 win at bottom side Hellas Verona.
In the previous six league games, Ballardini’s side had picked up just four points and lost to third-tier US Alessandria in the Italian Cup.
