After more than ten years of success at Knack Roeselare, Steven Vanmedegael opts for a surprising career switch. The former volleyball trainer from now on strengthens the Staff of Club Brugge, where he will work as a physical coach at the U16.
Vanmedegael developed an impressive list of list of 8 national titles, 9 cups, 6 supercups, a Bene Cup and a silver medal in the CEV Cup at Roeselare. Yet earlier this year he decided to take a step back and make more room for his private life.
Although there was just a possible role in the national volleyball team, he is now heading for another sporting direction. With his new position in football, he opts for a fresh challenge outside of volleyball.
