After three months, Tallon Greek track qualifies for an ATP tournament again

Tallon Greek track has qualified for the ATP Masters in Rome. The tennis player from Nieuw-Vennep defeated American Marcos Giron 7-6, 6-2 in the second round of qualifying. In the first round, the North Hollander had beaten Adrian Mannarino from France: 6-4, 6-4.

It has not been easy for Greek track lately. He first suffered from a neck injury and therefore withdrew from the tournaments in Barcelona, Munich and Madrid. Partly because of this, his last victory was almost three months ago during the ABN AMRO tournament in Rotterdam. There he reached the second round.

The North Hollander was then eliminated in the first round in Marseille, Indian Wells, Miami, Marrakech and Monte Carlo. Amsterdammer Botic van de Zandschulp is 31st in the world ranking and was directly admitted to the tournament in Rome.
