After the scandal about “Sieg Heil” calls at the concert: the police searched Melanie Müller’s home

The pop singer and former jungle queen Melanie Müller has been in the headlines in recent weeks because of videos in which visitors to one of her concerts apparently show the Hitler salute and shout “Sieg Heil”. Now the police and public prosecutor’s office have apparently searched Müller’s home as part of the ongoing investigation into the incident.

the “Bild-Zeitung” first reported on the raid in Leipzig. Accordingly, the raid took place early Thursday morning at 5 a.m. State security officials forcibly opened the back door of the building. Müller himself is currently giving concerts in Mallorca, but her partner was there. He told the newspaper that the police looked for storage media but found nothing.

A spokeswoman for the Leipzig public prosecutor’s office confirmed to the “Bild” newspaper that the search involved two procedures in connection with the videos. Since the proceedings are ongoing, the public prosecutor’s office did not want to give any further information.

Mueller has repeatedly distanced herself from the calls after the incident, saying she was “deeply dismayed and outraged” by it. She canceled a concert in Dresden after the videos became known. It was already known at the end of September that the Leipzig police had started investigations. According to the police, it is about the allegation of using license plates of unconstitutional organizations.
