Milano, 21 May. (askanews) – Distancing, indignation and disgust among many Israelis after the release of the video in which one can see the far-right Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, mocking some Flotilla activists, kneeling with their hands tied after being arrested at sea by the Israeli navy.
A content creator from Tel Aviv, Hila Tov, speaks of “Israeli brutality” and directly attacks the minister. Even the musician Dan Eldesman distances himself from the minister: “Ben Gvir does not represent me as an Israeli at all. He belongs to the extremists who cause wars.” And he adds: “His behavior yesterday is disgusting, shameful. I am simply shocked by these images.”
