After the ESC, Loreen also conquered the European charts

After Loreen took first place in the “Eurovision Song Contest” on May 13, the same thing seems to be happening on the European music charts. The Swede already stormed the music charts in 2012 with her last ESC winner “Euphoria” and reached the top of the sales list at the time.

Currently their winning song “Tattoo” is the most streamed song in Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland as well as the most popular “ESC” song in Germany, France and Spain. Only in Italy, Austria and Portugal are the national contributions by Marco Mengoni (“Due Vite”), Teya & Salena (“Who The Hell Is Edgar?”) and Mimicat (“Ai Coração”) received even better

The Norwegian Alessandra performed Europe’s second best-selling “Eurovision” song, “Queen of Kings”. Behind them are the Finn Käärijä (“Cha Cha Cha”) and the “Unicorn” of the Israeli participant Noa Kirel.

The biggest “ESC” enthusiasm seems to be in Belgium, where eight titles of the top 100 come from the “Eurovision” competition. ESC fever has apparently also spread in the Netherlands and Switzerland, where the number of ESC hits in the top 100 is five tracks each. The German candidates Lord of the Lost (“Blood & Glitter”), who scored zero points on Saturday, are currently scoring points in their home country and in Austria with streams.
