The municipality of Wingene will start the complete reconstruction of the sewerage system in the Aalterstraat in Ruiselede at the beginning of June. This happened after concrete accidentally ended up in the active sewer system, causing ten homes to no longer be able to dispose of their waste water. Attempts to mill away the concrete proved to be too slow and insufficiently effective.
