After months of uncertainty: Mandel United is saved!
Through a joint contribution, Bob Callens, Paul Seynaeve, Mario David and Frederick Verhelst become the sole shareholders in the club. Due to this move, the financial challenges of the past are gone, and hard work will be done to once again work out a sustainable concept for football in Izegem.
Building the club
The shareholders, led by the new main shareholder and chairman Frederick Verhelst, want to rebuild the club in a healthy way. Paul Seynaeve becomes Honorary President and continues to support the club.
The youth work, the women’s team, the G football and the B team are making a positive start. The ultimate goal of the new board is to bring their credo back to life: ‘oesjeun, gostehn, goazegevn.’
A-team in function of available budget
“In the coming days/weeks, the priorities will be mapped out and we will work together step by step to regain confidence and only get positive energy in the club,” said chairman Verhelst. “After analyzing the budgetary possibilities, an A-team will also be put together that will evolve as high and as professionally as possible in function of the available budget.”
