AFTER MARKET/XDAX +0.6% to 14,391 points – CTS Eventim and Kapsch TrafficCom are up

FRANKFURT (Dow Jones)–CTS Eventim and Kapsch TrafficCom shares were the focus of Friday’s after-hours trading. A court of arbitration has granted autoticket GmbH, a joint venture between the two companies, a claim for compensation against the Federal Republic of Germany. After termination of the operator contract for the levying of the infrastructure charge (“car toll”) in Germany, autoTicket GmbH asserted claims for compensation of around 560 million euros against the Federal Republic of Germany. However, the amount of the claim still has to be decided. The CTS Eventim share was priced 8 percent higher at Lang & Schwarz, and at Kapsch TrafficCom it was even around 20 percent.

The Leifheit share went up by 4.5 percent, although the household goods manufacturer expects lower sales and profits this year due to the negative effects of the Ukraine war on the supply chains, among other things. The company announced that EBIT will probably be significantly below the previous year due to the expected increase in costs. Despite the uncertainties, the company wants to pay a stable dividend of EUR 1.05 per share for 2021 “on the basis of the good liquidity position”.
