After leaving the loan at Eintracht Frankfurt: Amin Younes moves to Al-Ettifaq

After breaking off the loan in Frankfurt

The move from Amin Younes (28) to Al-Ettifaq is official. As the club announced on Sunday, the native of Düsseldorf comes to Saudi Arabia free of charge from SSC Napoli. There the ex-national player signed a contract until 2024.

Younes had been on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt since the summer of 2020, until recently, where the player and the club broke up. Due to persistent rumors of a change, the attacker was initially suspended last fall before the loan was recently terminated prematurely. Originally, Younes was supposed to play for the “Adler” until the end of the season, in which he was used in a total of 28 games (four goals/three assists). Since his arrival in the Main metropolis, the market value had shrunk from a career high of 10 million euros to currently 1.5 million euros.

In Naples, where the legal footer moved from Ajax Amsterdam free of charge in 2018, Younes’ working paper would have expired next year. Between July 2018 and October 2020 he made 24 appearances for the Italians, involving seven goals.
