Tottenham Hotspur has parted ways with coach Igor Tudor after just seven games. The struggling Premier League club, which has slipped to 17th place in the table, confirmed this on Sunday. Under the 47-year-old, the North Londoners only managed one win and one draw with five defeats. The only success was in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Atletico-Madrid, in which they were still eliminated.
According to the Spurs, the separation was “amicable.” Who will be the new head coach will be announced “in due course”. Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci have also resigned from their respective positions as goalkeeper coach and fitness coach. “We thank Igor, Tomislav and Riccardo for their commitment over the past six weeks, during which they have worked tirelessly. We also note the bereavement that Igor recently suffered and express our support to him and his family during this difficult time,” said a press release. Tudor’s father had recently died.
