Billionaire and Trump close friend Elon Musk wants the Channel, the waterway separating the United Kingdom and France, to be called the ‘George Washington Canal’ after the first American president. The boss of Tesla and SpaceX announced this on X, the social network he also owns. The proposal comes shortly after the Trump administration unilaterally decided to rename the Gulf of Mexico the ‘Gulf of America’.
