After film premiere: Harry Styles says he ‘flew to Venice to spit on Chris Pine’

A video is going viral on social media of Harry Styles spitting on his colleague Chris Pine’s hands before sitting next to him. Now the singer reacted to the rumor and joked: “I just flew to Venice to spit on Chris Pine”.

At the 79th Venice International Film Festival, the pair celebrated the film premiere of their upcoming thriller, Don’t Worry Darling, which will be directed by Styles’ partner Olivia Wilde. Following a supporting role in Dunkirk (2017), this is his first lead performance, now alongside Florence Pugh, who portrays his wife Alice in the play. Chris Pine also stars in the film – he slips into the role of Frank, Jack’s (Harry Styles) CEO.

Styles also commented on the allegation on September 7th. He joked: “I just flew to Venice to spit on Chris Pine. Don’t worry, we’re back.”

Spotify recently named Styles’ hit “As It Was” from his current record HARRY’S HOUSE along with Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” as the most-streamed songs of summer 2022. “Don’t Worry Darling” will be in aired in cinemas.
