After eleven years at Tottenham: Lloris leaves Spurs

France’s record international player Hugo Lloris is leaving Tottenham Hotspur after more than eleven years and moving to Los Angeles FC in the North American Major League Soccer.

The club, coached by ex-Hannover player Steven Cherundolo, officially announced the signing of the 2018 world champion goalkeeper. The 37-year-old Loris receives a contract for the 2024 season including an option for two more years.

Lloris came to Spurs from Olympique Lyon in the summer of 2012 and played 361 Premier League games for the Londoners. At the start of the season he lost his regular place to the newly signed Italian Guglielmo Vicario.
