“He made a return ticket from my holiday address. He had arranged everything, only the funny thing was that the press day was canceled. He did give me the feeling that he appreciated me and did that and does me a lot.”
Part of the club
“A great person is Jan Smit and I think that is also from Wim Jonk (ed. Oud trainer). I know how it went administratively with them, but I really have a great time with them. She involved me everywhere and I really felt part of the club. Just before a competition I was sometimes next to Jonk in the dug-out and he always stealed me.”
