Australian police shot dead fugitive Dezi Freeman in the southeastern state of Victoria on Monday (local time) after a seven-month manhunt. The man is said to be responsible for the death of two police officers in the village of Porepunkah in August last year. One of them was Vadim De Waart, a man born in Belgium.
