Striker Lenn Jastremski from FC Bayern Munich’s second representative team returns to Grazer AK. The 22-year-old, whose loan to third division club SSV Ulm was cut short at the beginning of January, is joining the leaders of Austria’s 2nd division on loan until the end of the season. In this context, GAK also secured a purchase option for the 1.90 meter tall offensive force, whose contract in Munich runs until 2025.

Jastremski had already played for Graz on loan during the first half of 2023, during which time he scored five goals in 14 games and prepared another. “His physical presence and his familiarity with the GAK playing facility make him an ideal reinforcement for the team, especially in view of Daniel Maderner’s absence due to injury,” explained GAK sports director Dieter Elsneg. For the Salzgitter-born three-time U20 national player, this is the fifth loan spell since he moved from Wolfsburg’s training club to Bayern in the summer of 2020. In Ulm he only managed one minute of playing time during the first half of the season.
