After 216 international matches, Debbie Bont thinks it has been nice with the handball players

Debbie Bont stops as an international with the women’s handball. The 32-year-old from Volendam was active for the Dutch team for more than thirteen years and won several prizes. At her club Metz, she will continue as a player.

“It was a very good time to be part of the team for so long and with all the successes we have achieved,” says Bont, who made his debut with the Dutch team in 2009. “I am proud that the popularity of handball in the Netherlands has grown so much over the years.”
