The road is completely free again in the direction of Friesland. The A7 over the Afsluitdijk was closed this afternoon from approximately 2 p.m after an accident.
An accident involving a caravan and a car took place near Kornwerderzand, on the Frisian side of the dike. Traffic to Friesland had to detour via the A7, A10, A1 and A6.
