And if it decides to shine on little Tanzania, it illuminates new pages of history: the Taifa Stars national team enters the round of 16 of the African Cup of Nations for the first time, thanks to the 1-1 draw with Tunisia which means mathematical entry among the best third-placed teams. Angola pays the price, finishing the group with the same points (2), but with one goal less (2 compared to Tanzania’s 3): Luvumbo, Nzola and Gaspar therefore return to Italy. The next phase for Tanzania will come with the thrilling intersection with Morocco. Second place instead for the Eagles of Carthage who in this Africa Cup of Nations are not letting the applause peel their hands, but at least they avoid making a fool of themselves: now Mali is there for them. In the other Group C match the star of former AC Milan player Chukwueze shines, with two assists in Nigeria’s comfortable 3-1 which also beats Uganda and finishes with full points.
