Marketplace Afound continues to expand in Europe, launching in Denmark and Norway.

The platform has been available in Denmark since last week, the Swedish clothing group Hennes & Mauritz, to which Afound belongs, announced last Thursday. In Norway, afound.com is scheduled to be available during the spring/summer 2022 season.

The outlet platform, which offers products from all H&M Group brands such as Cos, Weekday, Monki and Arket, was launched in June 2018 in Sweden. The Dutch market will follow in October 2019, followed by Germany and Austria. Denmark and Norway are now following.

“The Nordic market has a high digital maturity and there is a lot of interest and brand awareness in the brands we offer,” said Håkan Henriksson, Managing Director at Afound. “Denmark and Norway were therefore an obvious choice as Afound’s next European markets.”

Henriksson has been at the helm of the platform since January, according to his Linkedin profile. Before that he was Head of Product – Core Customer Assets at the H&M Group. He has also held various positions at the fashion retailer H&M, most recently as Regional E-Commerce Manager in Stockholm.
