The AEX starts the trading day with a profit of 0.3%. The mood on the Damrak is positive, with wide pluses under the main funds.

The positive stock market climate from the US, with new records on Wall Street and Green Futures, also continues on the AEX. Traditional and defensive shares in particular benefit from the good mood. Chip and tech funds, on the other hand, take it a bit easier and hand in something. Investors also look forward to the American job report that will be published this afternoon, which giving direction to the markets.

At the main funds in Amsterdam is ArcelorMittal Again the best. The steel group rises 1.4%, after it won almost 6% yesterday.

Randstad Is also a strong climber with a price gain of 0.9%. Also Shell is doing well and rises 0.8%, while Relx 0.7% higher. Other striking winners are AkzoNobel (+0.7%), Heineken (+0.5%) and DSM-Firmenich (+0.5%).
At the bottom of the list there are mainly technology and chip funds. Besi loses 0.7%, followed by ASMI (-0.3%) and Adyen (-0.0%). Also ING and Prosus Slightly lower, with 0.2% and 0.1% loss respectively.

ABN AMROThe fact that rose even stronger earlier in the morning, now notes 0.2% higher. ASML and Philips Show a very limited profit.
