The Italian fashion group Aeffe SpA and its previous Group Managing Director Marcello Tassinari go their separate ways. The company and Tassinari had agreed to terminate the contract by mutual agreement on December 31, the parent company of the brands Moschino, Alberta Ferretti, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini and Pollini said on Friday. Tassinari then resigned from his post with immediate effect.

The group announced that the position of general manager would not be filled again. Instead, the board of directors decided to set up a management body to which the managing directors Massimo Ferretti, Simone Badioli and Giancarlo Galeone should belong. The management trio will in future provide the “strategic guidelines” of the group and ensure the “best possible coordination of the subsidiaries”, said Aeffe. CEO Badioli will also take over Tassinari’s previous responsibilities in the financial area and the role of Chief Financial Officer until further notice.

Executive President Massimo Ferretti thanked Tassinari for “his professional contributions, his commitment and his support” in implementing the company’s goals and wished him “every success in his future career”. The smooth continuation of the group’s projects will now be guaranteed by the new management body, said Ferretti.
