Advertising gang crashes on fan – Zverev helps with ice cream bag

A moment of terror overshadowed the safe opening success of Germany’s best tennis professional. Zverev himself helped the first supply of a viewer.
At the Rasmurnier in the Westphalian Halle of Westphalia there was an incident during Alexander Zverev on Tuesday. Part of an advertising table fell into the unit of the grandstand and hit a visitor. The incident occurred in the first set of the game against the American Marcos Giron at the score of 5: 2, 30:15 from the point of view of Zverev.
The 27-year-old did not hesitate and immediately let an ice cream bag reach the stands to provide first aid. The viewer affected was able to leave the stadium with medical support and with the applause of the audience. At first nothing was known about the serious possible injuries.
“The main thing is that everyone goes home happy and healthy,” said Zverev, who was satisfied with his appearance: “It was a great match for me. It was a high level.”
After a short interruption, the match continued. Zverev, Halle finalist from 2016 and 2017, won 6: 2, 6: 1 without any problems.
