The sociologist and leftist leader Manuela Castañeira closed the year with a combative message on social networks. In his

The post did not go unnoticed by the ruling party. Manuel Adorni, head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Argentine Nation and one of the most visible voices of the Government on networks, responded with a brief message full of irony: “Give him what you do, don’t forget: always on the sidewalk. Kisses. The end.”

The comment directly alluded to the anti-picketing protocol promoted by Javier Milei’s management, which enables rapid intervention by security forces to free up circulation on public roads. The Government highlights that, after its application, street and avenue closures were significantly reduced.

According to official data, since April 2025, there have been no total cuts in key arteries of the City of Buenos Aires, such as 9 de Julio Avenue, one of the main historical scenes of social protests and pickets.

The exchange once again reflected one of the trademarks of the ruling party’s communication style. Adorni frequently uses social networks to respond to opposition leaders with ironic messages and cutting phrases, a strategy that seeks to reinforce the Government’s political message and, at the same time, mark a position against the street protest.
