Adidas introduces a new line that presents high-quality, refined versions of iconic products under the lifestyle label Adidas Originals. With A-Type, the name of the line, the focus is on craftsmanship and first-class materials.
A-Type is a “constantly developed collection” that reinterprets iconic designs from the incomparable archive of the three-strip brand through the use of exquisite materials and the cooperation with outstanding studios. “A-Type is Adidas Originals in its most demanding and most sophisticated form,” said the Herzogenaurach sporting goods in a message on Tuesday.
The line builds on the adidas heritage by newly contextualizing significant styles in a contemporary way. The company goes beyond the pure retro nostalgia trend and offers a modern homage to its brand history, with a clear focus on the luxury segment.

The handmade model consists of high-quality premium leather with a minted canvas texture on the iconic three stripes. The design is complemented by cashmere laces with removable metal tips, silver jewelry pendants for the laces and a light stream per mid-sole. The sneakers are delivered in a specially shaped shoe box, accompanied by custom-made wooden shoe tensioners and white gloves-a tribute to the adidas archive.

The Firebird training suit was reinterpreted in the Apparel area. Originally designed in the 1980s for athlete: designed inside, the model became a street style classic. The design has now been revised for A-Type. Jacket, pants and shorts are made of leather. In addition, the collection includes two regular fit-T shirts with cashmere content-created for everyday slooks.
