Adidas changes digital boss

There’s a change at Adidas’ digital leadership.

Chief Digital Officer Scott Zalaznik will be leaving Adidas, the Herzogenaurach-based sportswear retailer confirmed on Tuesday at the request of FashionUnited. Tobias Seemann is following in his footsteps. Manager Magazin first reported on Zalaznik’s departure.

For Seemann, who will be Senior Vice President Global Digital and eCommerce at Adidas from October, it is a return to the sportswear retailer. He most recently worked for the company as Senior Vice President Commercial Europe from 2020 to 2022. The outgoing digital boss Zalaznik will oversee the transition in October, before Seemann will report to Chief Sales Officer Arthur Hoeld.

It is the second return for Seemann, who, according to his profile on the LInkedin career network, worked at Adidas from 2007 to 2011, including as Head of Sales Development EMEA, before he held positions at the department store group Galeria and the e-commerce giant Amazon. Most recently, he was Chief Commercial Officer at Miinto, a Danish technology and fashion scale-up.
