The sporting goods manufacturer Adidas and the Audi Revolut F1 Team have presented their first joint performance collection. The range includes clothing, footwear and accessories and is aimed at both the entire Formula 1 racing team and the global fan base. The collection marks the start of the multi-year partnership, in which Adidas acts as an official team partner. A performance-oriented teamwear line was developed for drivers, engineers and mechanics, supplemented by fan clothing. In total, the collection includes around 160 items.
In terms of design, the range relies on a monochrome color world dominated by gray tones with subtle red accents. The designs take up technical elements of the vehicle and combine reduced lines with functional materials. For engineers, the focus is on close-fitting shirts and insulating jackets. The Mechanic:innen line is decorated in utility-inspired black and graphite tones and integrates functional details such as expanded pocket solutions as well as Climacool technology for temperature regulation. In the footwear area, a team-specific Adizero Evo SL was developed, coordinated with the color concept of the collection.
The protagonists of the campaign include the drivers Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto. Nico Hülkenberg, driver in the Audi Revolut F1 Team: “For the first time I am representing two leading icons on the racetrack. Wearing the three stripes alongside the four rings is a big moment and I look forward to putting on the jersey, which has been manufactured with precision and driven by Adidas’ highest level of technical detail – meaning it offers style, functionality and hopefully a lot of speed.”
The official presentation of the teamwear took place on January 20th in Berlin as part of the team’s launch event. Sales start now via selected sales channels.
