Adele confirms marriage to sports agent Rich Paul

Adele announced she is newly married during an Alan Carr comedy show in Los Angeles.

Adele confirmed her marriage to Rich Paul at a comedy show in Los Angeles over the weekend. For this she used the show of her friend Alan Carr, aka “Chatty Man”. She sat in the audience at the show and when he asked who was married, she called out: “Me! I married!”

During the show, which was described as “small and intimate”, the singer left a lasting impression on the rest of the audience: one participant told the Daily Mail about the “super sweet” atmosphere that was said to have prevailed during her presence. It seemed as if Adele wasn’t disturbing the attention of those present, but she wasn’t forcing it either. The person on site added that the singer disappeared shortly before the end of the performance.

The Daily Mail quoted another visitor as saying: “Adele sat right behind me with a friend and had the best time. Her security just came in to bring her snacks.”

Adele’s partner: Successful sports agent

The 35-year-old’s long-term partner is the 41-year-old American sports agent Rich Paul. Among other things, he is an agent for NBA star LeBron James.

The musicians and the agent made their relationship public in 2021. Adele separated from Simon Konecki in 2018 and the divorce was finalized in 2021. Adele has a son from her marriage to Konecki, born in 2012.

Rich Paul, who is usually considered secretive, gave a rare glimpse into his private life in October: In an interview on the TV show “CBS Mornings” (seen here), he spoke publicly about his new book and his partnership with the singer. He emphasized that the two were “happy” together.
