Dean is best known for her role in Triangle of Sadness, a satire film by Ruben Östlund that won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year. The film also stars Harris Dickinson and Woody Harrelson. In Triangle of Sadness Dean played the part of Yaya. The film is about wealthy sailors who have to build a new life after being shipwrecked on an uninhabited island.
Dean also played a part in the series Black Lightning. She has also appeared in films such as spud, Death Race 3: Inferno, Blood in the Water, Don’t Sleep and porthole.
