Annie Wersching is dead. The actress died on January 29, 2023 in Los Angeles at the age of 45 as a result of cancer, which she was diagnosed with in 2020.
Her husband, actor Stephen Full, confirmed his wife’s death: “As of today, there is a cavernous hole in our family’s soul. But Annie left us the tools we need to fill that hole. She found miracles in the smallest moments. She didn’t even need music to dance to. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find us. ‘Go and find one. They’re everywhere,’ she said. And we will.”
Wersching has starred in a variety of series throughout her career, including Star Trek, Bosch, Timeless, and Marvel’s Runaways. Her best-known role was as CTU agent Renee Walker in seasons 7 and 8 of the action series 24, starring Kiefer Sutherland. Wersching also worked as a voice actress. There she was best known as the voice of Tess in the video game The Last Of Us.
Annie Wersching leaves behind three children in addition to her husband.
