Actor Jeffrey Carlson, 48, has died

A respected Broadway actor passed away unexpectedly.

Broadway actor Jeffrey Carlson has died at only 48 years old.

According to The Guardian magazine, Carlson’s friend and co-star Susan Hart confirmed the actor’s death on July 6. The cause of death is unknown.

The American Shakespeare Theater Association published its participation on his Facebook account in honor of the actor’s memory. According to the association, the actor appeared on Broadway in the plays Lorenzaccio, Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet.

– It is sad to hear that Jeffrey Carlson has passed away. He gave many beautiful and expressive performances during his career, which took him from film and television roles to Broadway, the association writes.

Also journalist and theater critic Adam Feldman has taken part in the actor’s surprising passing away on Twitter.

The actor’s close circle and manager have been silent and they have not commented on the matter to the American press.

The actor started his career in 2002. He acted in television series as well as in prestigious Broadway plays. Among other things, Carlson played the role of Hamlet in the famous Shakespeare play.

Her most credited and well-known role is in the television series All my children, where she played the transgender Zoe. Because of that role, the series won a prestigious award.
