Prime Minister Schoof met Prime Minister Ishiba of Japan in Tokyo on April 21. During their meeting, with a view to the 425 -year anniversary of bilateral relations – they agreed to record the priorities for cooperation in the coming years in a shared action plan (in English).
This action plan complements the strategic partnership for sustainable peace and prosperity (Strategic Partnership Agreement for Sustainable Peace and Prosperity) that the Netherlands and Japan closed in November 2015.
