Bogner has announced a collaboration with James Bond’s own brand 007. The reason for this is the 90th anniversary of Bogner and the 60th birthday of the James Bond film series.
The announced capsule collection is mainly based on the “mutual sense of style and the respective preference for fast descents”, the Munich label announced on Tuesday.
In 1969, Willy Bogner, son of the founding couple, took part in the shooting of “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”. Due to his Olympic experience in alpine skiing and his camera skills, he was able to optimally capture the descents of the secret agent. The collaboration between Willy Bogner, who turns 80 on Sunday, and the James Bond production extended to other scenes in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), For Your Eyes Only (1981) and In A View To Death ” (1985).
The capsule collection is set to launch in fall 2022.
