Achilles 1894 takes the championship at number two FC Meppel and is back in the first division

Achilles 1894 is back in the first class. The people of Assen, led by outgoing coach Wilko Niemer, took the title in the northern second division J with three games to go. In Niemer’s hometown of Meppel, the guests made it clear against FC Meppel who deserved the championship: the 5-1 victory was the result of the confrontation between numbers one and two in the competition.
