At least two people were injured in a collision with a wrong-way driver on the A73 near Rijkevoort on Thursday afternoon. The highway to Limburg is closed for work.
It is not yet clear when the highway will reopen. Several vehicles were damaged. There is a lot of rubble on the road surface.

Due to the accident, road users now have approximately half an hour extra travel time towards Maasbracht. In the opposite direction, to Nijmegen, there is a so-called viewer’s traffic jam with a delay time of 15 minutes.
