An accident involving a truck caused enormous delays on the A2 highway near Eindhoven on Monday afternoon. At the De Hogt junction, two lanes in the direction of Maastricht had to be closed. The extra travel time quickly increased and amounted to an hour and a half just after half past two on Monday afternoon, Rijkswaterstaat reported.
After the two lanes were reopened around a quarter to two, the delays decreased quickly.
The emergency services, including a recovery company, arrived at the scene of the accident.
