In his last days Füllkrug would have made a blatant final spurt. From bobbing around in the second division to Dortmund, CL, NM, England and now possibly Italy and all as an over-30 player.

And that despite the fact that he has achieved almost nothing in the last two seasons (this and the last one) – also due to many injuries. I’m surprised there’s still anyone there at all when you look at the injury file.

Milan simply needs the beefy MS as an option against the smaller teams. Füllkrug should be fine for that, as the risk is manageable as a loan. But his scoring numbers are actually frightening and, as with Boniface, Milan will take a closer look at his health.

So I would take a closer look at his medical records. Then you’ll get smarter.
Throwing Boniface in there doesn’t really fit either. It is actually rather unclear whether he will even be fit again.
For Füllkrug, the injuries always came at intervals. In between he always had a few seasons at a time before something big came along again. If it stays that way, he should now have about 2 years where he’ll be fit again except for a few minor things. And then it could be over with the next major injury. He kept coming back and then had a few seasons in a row without any major injuries.

He simply needs a team that needs this type of striker and uses him. Then he scores again. I already believe in that. I would actually have believed that England was made for him – good luck. But he will come back. I’m not worried about that. And it’s all about the second half of the season anyway. That will be fine. And it’s not all of a sudden over the zenith. I do not think so.

If Milan lets him play, he will deliver. And for him it would be a thousand times better option than Wolfsburg, where he would be out of the window for Nagelsmann anyway, almost no matter what he would put up there. I don’t think Nagelsmann would nominate anyone from Wolfsbrug. He only has a chance against Burkardt (Undav and Kleindienst, so fit, I see him as seeded) if he goes to a bigger club. And I could imagine that he might even talk to Nagelsmann about it, who would then also advise it.

I would wish that. And that it fits.
And hey, one of the most legendary stadiums ever. For us Germans too, of course. For those who are old enough at least 😉 Having this as a home (before it is demolished 😢) would be great in your career. If he has the chance, he should try it.

Unless Lewandowski gets injured and Hansi comes up with some really wild ideas 😄 Then he could think again. But at the moment I would say that Milan would clearly be the best card from his point of view.
