Glenn V. from Noord-Scharwoude, Mark V. from Opmeer, Ruviëni M. from Rotterdam and Deniz R. from Obdam were sentenced to prison terms of almost thirty years in 2024.
The latter suspect has made statements in recent months that have led to three new arrests, including two men from Amsterdam. With these arrests, the group would now consist of ten men, one of whom has died, who committed crimes in varying combinations.
There was quite a row during the hearing in the Bunker in Amsterdam Osdorp, partly because of new, incriminating statements by Deniz R. “I will give a warning and then I will kick someone out,” the chairman of the court said quite early on.
R. confessed to the second robbery in the series at a gas station in Nieuwe Niedorp.
