An abuse scandal at a Catholic school in the French Pyrenees brings Prime Minister François Bayrou into increasingly closer shoes. At the school, Notre-Dame de Bétram, boys between 8 and 13 for decades would have been abused. Bayrou, education minister between 1993 and 1997, says he has not been aware, but that is contradicted by various sources. Earlier this week the scandal received an extra dimension when his daughter made a revelation.
