Artist Abreu, real name Anna Heiskari, visits Hanna Tikander’s new podcast episode, where they discuss the twists and turns of Abreu’s career, the different doctrines of life, and marriage to Lauri Heiskari.
Abreu and Lauri Heiskari got married in Helsinki in the summer of 2013. Abreu was 23 years old at the time.
According to Abreu, he had sought implication and boldness from his previous partners. Heiskari was not the same, but he is a safe partner. Abreu describes in the episode that Heiskari has an enormous empathy.
– I probably fell in love with kindness. He is super kind for everyone, nice and consideration, says Aberu at the podcast.
Abreu calls a long relationship to the cornerstone of communication. Even difficult issues and conflicts must be able to talk about.
“I always think about how Lauri can handle me because I’m not the easiest person,” Abreu says in the podcast.
According to Abreu, Heiskari is an example of a “perfect partner”. During his 12 -year marriage, he has not found any downside to Heiskar.
The decision to keep
Abreu sometimes admits that he thinks that packing and getting out of a relationship would be the only option. Then he has wondered if it makes sense.
– When I leave, do I find something better for myself in this world than this person and relationship. As long as the answer is no, so long I have thought I wouldn’t really go. Certainly he has become the feeling, I’m certainly not the only one, but when the answer is that he feeds my soul and brings out the best features of me, then it is not worth going, Abreu says.
“We have found and realized that the grass will not be greener than in our relationship,” he says.
– We have just had so much more plus and we have had a lot of fun. I wouldn’t turn anything in the end, Abreu concludes.
