ABB has won a contract to supply drive systems for the Eva Copper Mine Project in Queensland, Australia.
The order calls for the delivery of both gearless and ring-driven mill drives to enable efficient ore processing. The new copper mine is expected to produce around 60,000 tons of copper annually, as the technology group ABB announced on Wednesday. The order was already booked in the fourth quarter of 2025, but its amount remains undisclosed.
The ABB share was temporarily trading 0.05 percent weaker at 72.16 francs on the SIX.
