The A58 towards Eindhoven is closed at Moergestel due to an accident. The road is expected to be open late in the evening.
The accident, which happened around 4 p.m., involved several vehicles. A number of these have to be salvaged and the road is expected to be closed for a few more hours.
Traffic can pass through an adjacent service area, but the traffic jam is increasing. That is why road users are diverted from the De Baars junction via the A65 and A2.
