The A28 near Staphorst is closed in the direction of Drenthe after an accident. The accident happened around 4:50 PM between Staphorst and Meppel.
Several cars were involved. Two occupants of one of the cars were injured. The car they were in rolled over.
The occupants of the other cars were treated at the scene. According to a police spokesperson, they only suffered minor injuries.
Traffic is recommended to drive via Emmeloord. The road is expected to remain closed until 12:30 am.
