The traffic on the A28 from Hoogeveen towards Zwolle had to be temporarily via the emergency lane this morning at Rouveen. The road was closed there after an accident. Around 8.45 a car tilted after a collision. Whether those involved have been injured is not known at the moment.
According to Rijkswaterstaat, the A28 was closed due to the storage and cleaning work. The traffic could be over the emergency lane at that time, but this caused a big traffic jam. Around 9.30 am 13 kilometers of traffic jams were reported, with a delay of more than an hour. In the meantime, the road has been released again.
